Welcome to the first of a series of blog posts from Fairy HQ! I'm going to try to blog at least once or twice a month to keep you up to date with what we're doing, focus in one or two manufacturers and share a few tips and tricks along the way.

So I guess it's best to start at the beginning and tell you all about how we got here?
In February I was sat on my sofa at home,  trying to think of a new idea which my Dad and I could work on together.  He's recently retired and doesn't like it much,  so he fancied getting involved with a new project.

Suddenly I thought about china: we were both born in Stoke on Trent and my grandmother (Dad's mum) painted faced for the Doulton figurines in the 1930's. We both love fine china and my dad gad been secretly collecting tea sets for a number of years. Of course,  they're very sought after now and we thought it was about time that we shared or collection with the world!

Well that was it: Teacup Fairy was born!
We set about building the website and adding to our collections ready to open the Internet store. We've been thrilled with how is gone so far, and thanks to our lovely customers, we've had lots of super feedback.

As you know, Teacup Fairy specialises in Staffordshire bone china,  mostly pre-war,  and we love it!  We hope you do too. If you're new to the site,  please take a look around and let us know what you think.  If you're a regular visitor,  thank you,  we really appreciate it. If you've read this far we think you deserve a treat,  and so please enter the coupon code LOYALTY at check out and award yourself 10% off.
